Lyons Sidewalk Repairs Estimated To Cost Around $8,000

The Fulton County Economic Development Corp.’s golf outing is Sept. 15 according to Lyons Mayor Gleckler.

The mayor also discussed the efforts of Delta, Swanton and Archbold to work on a possible annexation from their respective townships.

A request by a company to place a vending machine outside the Village Hall was denied by council.

Wauseon has installed solar panels to help eliminate algae at the reservoir. The cost is $30,000, which will also help with the testing of the algae.


Lead and copper testing was performed on 10 residences. The tests are conducted every three years.

The Den will reopen later this month as K’s Fine Food and Dining.

The village received only one response to a call for work on repairing sidewalks in spots by the bank, The Den and Post Office. Kirk Miller submitted a quote of $7,696. The village administrator will check on having Miller repair some sections by the insurance company as well.


The town’s unlimited drop-off at the fire hall took in 17 tons, costing $2,812.09.

The vote for a 1 percent income tax was 5-1 in support.
