Bella was called home on March 25, 2021, in Seguin, Texas at the age of 77.  She was born in Raymondville, Texas on August 17, 1943 to Manuel Fonseca and Ester Pedraza.

Bella was loved by many and will be missed by many, but while here on Earth she made a great impression on those she crossed paths with. Bella was always known as a kind and giving person, and for those who knew her well knew she was one of the best cooks around.

She would never let anyone leave her house hungry. Bella took pride in her family, enjoyed gardening, traveling, being outdoors, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Bella also instilled in her family that family and faith are two very important values in life. And to always be sure that those traditions live on.

Surviving her is her husband Baldemar Zuniga. Children Linda (Jeff) Mellon, Deanna Martinez, Jose Martinez Jr., Hector Martinez, Rebecca Martinez, Susana McLeod, Teresa (Matt) Wickersham, Laurel (Quinn) Frank, Martha Zuniga. Siblings Ruben Fonseca, Robert (Jennie) Fonseca, Ramiro (Jan) Fonseca, Raul (Mary) Fonseca, Norma Tellez, Arturo (Leota) Pedraza, Letty (Bob) Moon, Sylvia (Chris) Damko, Maggie (Frank) Avina.  Bella had 26 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 33 Nephews and Nieces and a host of Great Nephews and Great Nieces.

Preceding her in death were her sons Israel and David Martinez, parents Esther Pedraza and Manuel Fonseca and Great Grandson Ezekiel Reaster.

A funeral service in memory of Maria Bella Zuniga will be held on Saturday April 17, 2021, 11 am, at St Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon, Ohio. Interment of Ashes will immediately follow at St Caspar Catholic Cemetery. Family and Friends may visit from 9 am – 10 am Saturday at St Caspar Catholic Church.  The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10 am.  The family will also receive guests at the Parish Life Center (St Caspar Catholic Church) from 2pm – 4pm.

Rest in Peace Bella. How fortunate we were to have known you in our short time. We see your legacy already living strong within your children and grandchildren. With a heavy heart. David and Jo Normand
