Marilyn L. Conn, age 90, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 9:15 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2024, at Vancrest of Hicksville, Hicksville, Ohio.
Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Hicksville High School. She was a retail clerk for Carroll-Ames Hardware in Bryan for 21 years.
After it’s closing she continued her career at Sears in Bryan. Marilyn was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Lioness Club, both in Bryan.
She enjoyed reading and coloring in adult coloring books. Most of all, she loved time with her grandchildren, whether baby sitting or following their sports and school performances.
Marilyn L. Conn was born on January 10, 1934, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Mona (Blair) Rowan. She married Joseph Michael Conn on November 19, 1977, in Antwerp, and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2011.
Surviving Marilyn are three daughters, Ellen Lanette (Leonard) Leach and Gail (Ken) Roth, both of Bryan, and Trisha (Ashley Reef) Smith of Magnolia, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Richard (Sharon) Rowan of Waterville, Ohio.
Along with her husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laura Smith; sister, Carolyn Carr and great grandson, Corbin Owen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 E. Hull Street, Edgerton, Ohio. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Rick Stiver officiating.
