Marla J. Eby, 63, of Ephrata, PA, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.
She was born in Williams County, OH to Dean and Nancy (Carlin) St. John, with whom she resided, and was the wife of the late George William “Bill” Eby, who died in November of 1987. They had married on August 4, 1979.
She was a member of Millbach Conservative Brethren Church in Lebanon County, PA. Marla worked as a secretary/receptionist for Hurst Electric in Lititz, for the last 10 years.
In addition to her parents, Marla is survived by 2 sisters, Laranda, wife of Lloyd Eby of Wauseon, OH, and LuAnn, wife of Randy Dennis of Richland, PA. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 18th, from 5 to 8 pm at the Lititz Dunkard Brethren Church, 430 Clay Road, Lititz. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 19th, at 2:00 pm, with a visitation 1 hour prior, at the church, with Brothers Rudy Shaffer and David Dennis officiating.
Further viewing will be held Friday, September 21st, from 5 to 8 pm, at the Short Funeral Home, 500 N. Defiance St., Archbold, OH. Interment service will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, at 10 am, in the Smith Cemetery, Fulton County, OH, with Brother Dennis St. John officiating.
