Marsha Ruffer (1959-2019)

Marsha Ann (Sullivan) Ruffer, age 59, of Stryker, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, March 15, 2019, at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon.

Marsha was born May 13, 1959 in Fulton County, Ohio to Don and Barb (Dohm) Sullivan and they survive. Marsha married Terry L. Ruffer on April 19, 1980 in Stryker United Methodist Church and he survives. Marsha was a graduate of Stryker High School in 1977. She obtained a Associate’s Degree from Toledo University and worked as a paraprofessional through the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center with Stryker Local Schools. She was a member of the Stryker United Methodist Church. 

Marsha’s most prized possession were her grandchildren, and she enjoyed time with each and everyone of them no matter where they were. She especially enjoyed being at her lake cottage surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in all aspects of their life.

Marsha has enjoyed spending time traveling and staying at the lake with her high school sweetheart and husband Terry. She was all about family and the time that they all got to spend together. Marsha had a passion for scrapbooking, which she loved being able to give the finished product to others in order to spread memories.


Survivors include her husband, Terry.  Children,  Jordan (Tracy) Ruffer, Kamilla (Justin) Houk,  Brady (Stephanie) Ruffer. Grandchildren,  Sylar, Saegan, and Saxton Ruffer, Jaelyn, Brayton, Avery, and Grayson Houk, Issac and Marissa Ruffer.  Parents,  Don and Barb Sullivan. Sister, Connie (Steve) Planson,  Brothers, Donald (Elsa) Sullivan and Dennis (Jodie) Sullivan.  Marsha is preceded in death by her grandparents.  

Funeral services and visitation hours for Marsha are pending and will be announced later by Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio.
