Marshall Lee Boyers went home to be with the Savior on September 4th, 2024 at the age of 93. He was born in Wauseon, Ohio on August 17th, 1931 to Loren and Kathryn (Rutz) Boyers.
Marshall was a lifetime Fulton County resident. He married the love of his life, Helen Pauline (Grieser) Boyers on April 17th, 1954 at Swan Creek Church of the Brethren in Delta, Ohio and they enjoyed over 65 wonderful years together.
Marshall served in the 101st Infantry Division of the United States Army. He drove for the motor pool for army intelligence and was a veteran of the Korean War. Marshall spent time working in the furnace business with his father L. Ray Boyers.
He also had a thirty-year career in construction and an even longer career as a sign painter. Marshall learned the joys of sign painting as a young man from his paternal grandfather, Loren W. Boyers.
Marshall was a vehicle enthusiast and loved working on old cars. If he wasn’t out in the garage workshop, he could be found attending the events of the Irish Hills Car Club, attending Swan Creek Church of the Brethren, or spending time with the friends and family he loved most.
