Mary R. Chapman, age 63, of Ney, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Parkview Bryan Hospital, following an automobile accident.
Mary was a registered nurse. She previously worked at First Call For Help and Harborside Nursing Home in Defiance.
Mary was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Parish-Marysdale and also attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan. She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening.
Mary loved animals and rescued all that she could. Her greatest love was her family. She supported her grandchildren in all their events. Mary was born January 4, 1962, in Defiance, the daughter of Gerald E. and Rose E. (McCarthy) Hanna.
Mary is survived by her sons, James (Jessica) Chapman, of Glendale, AZ and John Chapman, of Ney; daughter, Kelley Chapman of Bryan; 9 grandchildren, Jaxon, Hallie, Nevaeh, Keegan, Colton, Skylar, Breanna, John and Bo and sisters, Rebecca Hanna, of Aspen, CO and Amy Kolb, of Evansport. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jennifer McCreight.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1:00-3:00pm at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, OH. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
