Mary I. Grime, age 80, of Archbold, passed away Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. Prior to her retirement she had owned and operated the Twilight Inn for 35 years
Mary was born in Lenawee County, Michigan on July 1, 1935, the daughter of Franky and Opal (Jay) Wheeler. On September 8, 1952 she married John P. Grime, and he survives. Also surviving are their children; Linda Grime of Archbold, Cathy (John) Ordway of Archbold, Joani (Denny) Stantz of Stryker, Bev (Terry) Sidle of Stryker, Kris (Dwight) Beltz of Pettisville, John (Lori) Grime of Wauseon; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bill Wheeler of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Brandi Beltz; great-grandson, Brennen Beltz; and brother, Franklin Wheeler.
Visitation for Mary will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Chapel at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold, where a Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, with pastor Tom Ordway, officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery.
