Matthew Stiltner (1992 – 2026)

Matthew Austin Stiltner, age 33, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Parkview Bryan Hospital Emergency Room as the result of an accident.
Matt was born June 16, 1992, in Bryan, Ohio, to Daniel W. Stiltner and Beth A. Baker. He attended Bryan High School. Matt recently worked at Bryan Plastic Processing, LLC, and previously worked at several factories in the area.
Matt valued spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed riding four-wheelers, being outdoors, and tinkering with tools in the garage. Matt will be remembered for his love for his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and protected those he loved.
Matt is survived by his mother, Beth Baker of Bryan, Ohio; his father, Daniel (Roberta Ruffer) Stiltner of Bryan, Ohio; two siblings, Jacob Stiltner of Montpelier, Ohio, and Kayla Stiltner of King, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Carol Berryman of Bryan, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Ida Friley of Defiance, Ohio; aunts and uncles, Vanessa Olsen, Kevin Baker, Elmer Baker, Chris Baker, and Amy Rober; two nieces, Kaydence Prosser and Bexlee Murray; and a nephew, Jacob “JJ” Stiltner Jr.
Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ellis Baker; paternal grandfather, Bobby Stiltner; and uncle, Jonathon Rober.
A celebration of Matt’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Williams County Humane Society. Condolences and fond memories may be shared with the family at www.oberlinturnbull.com.
