Maxine Lenora Rossi, 64, of Quincy, and formerly of Waldron, passed away early Thursday morning, November 24, 2016, at Quincy Cottage. She was born November 20, 1952, in Montpelier, Ohio, to the late Robert and Joyce (Dunlap) Farnham. She married Terry Lee Rossi on November 26, 1999, in Las Vegas, NV, and he preceded her in death on Feburary 17, 2007.
A 1970 graduate of Waldron High School, Maxine received a B.S. in Education from Western Michigan University, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan. She served as a teacher for 30 years at the North Central Local School District in Pioneer, OH. Maxine was a member of the Waldron Church of Christ.
Surviving are her two brothers, Mark Farnham of Bryan, OH and Mike (Jenny) Farnham of Waldron; and her brother-in-law, Dale Wiser of Waldron.
In addition to her parents and husband, Maxine was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Wiser.
A funeral service for Maxine will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Don Crain officiating. Burial will follow in Waldron Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
