McKenna R. Kreischer (1992 – 2015)

Kreischer-WEBMcKenna Rae Kreischer, 22, of Canton, Michigan and formerly of Montpelier passed away Tuesday, March 3rd at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township, Michigan as the result of an automobile accident.  She was born on July 16, 1992 in Bryan to Patrick J. and Kerry J. (Jones) Kreischer.  McKenna graduated from Montpelier High School in 2010.

McKenna was a sales person for Frito-Lay Corporation in Plymouth, Michigan.  She was formerly a 7-11 manager in Westland, Michigan.

She is survived by her parents Patrick and Kerry Kreischer of Montpelier; two brothers, Nicholas Jay Kreischer of North Las Vegas, Nevada and Parker Jay Kreischer of Montpelier; paternal grandparents, Carroll and Patricia Kreischer of Montpelier; maternal grandparents, Steve Coon of Adrian, Michigan and Larry Jones of Thompsonville, Michigan; and paternal great grandparents John and Fran Kreischer of Montpelier.

Visitation for McKenna will be on Wednesday, March 11th from 3-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier.  Services will be on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris to officiate.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.  Online condolences can be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com.
