Mina E. Hood, age 96, of Archbold, passed away on December 12, 2023, at the Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon. Mina worked at Fairlawn Nursing Home in the laundry department.
Mina was born October 7, 1927, in Hope, MI, to the late Boyd and Mary (Gransden) Havens. She married the love of her life, Charles S. Hood, in 1948. Mina loved music and was a piano player.
Mina is survived by her son, William (Debra) Hood of San Luis Obispo, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents; son, James Dennis Hood; and siblings, Patrick Havens, Floyd Havens, Carl Havens, Bill Havens, Doris Havens, and Dorothy Marsh.
There will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Archbold Cemetery. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Homes is honored to serve the Hood family.
