GRANT AWARDED … The Williams County Veterans Memorial Building recognizes veterans and also serves the community as a wonderful facility to hold events. Their stone parking lot has eroded over the years and needs major repairs which will be addressed this spring/summer with plans to cement the parking lot. The Montpelier Area Foundation recently awarded a grant of $10,000 to support this project. This much-needed improvement will make the facility more handicap friendly, snow removal will be easier, and it will benefit all the activities held at the facility.
