(October 7th, 2014)-MONTPELIER: A balanced performance by Hannah Blake, who recorded 13 kills, 9 digs, and 7 assists, wasn’t enough to propel the Locos past North West Ohio Athletic League opponent Evergreen.
Despite a great effort in game 1, the Lady Locomotives still dropped the set 19-25. The Lady Vikings capitalized on the momentum from that win, taking game 2 25-17. Montpelier attempted to battle their way back into the match, but Evergreen wouldn’t allow it. The Locos lost game 3 16-25.
Landri McKelvey managed an impressive 22 assists to compliment her 7 digs, 3 kills, and 1 ace. Sidney Houk refused to let the ball hit the floor, making 16 digs in addition to her 7 kills, 6 digs, and 1 ace.
