Montpelier Hospital Auxiliary Hosts Luncheon & Installs New Officers

HPIM1856 WEBInstallation of officers for the 2016-18 term was held by CHWC-Montpelier Hospital Auxiliary at the June 13th lucheon. The new officers are pictured from left to right, President Armeda Sawmiller, Vice President Carol Eriksen, Past President Joyce Schelling, Treasurer Barbara Dietsch, and Secretary Connie Dunseth. A candlelight ceremony was conducted by Installing Officer Joyce Schelling, and included a pledge by all auxiliary members to work together with the new officers to continue to assist the local hospital staff and those in sickness or distress. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Joyce presented the gavel to new President Armeda. During the summer months, the executive board will continue to meet but general meetings will resume in October on the second Monday of the month. The next executive board meeting will be Monday, July 11th at 10:30 a.m. due to Independence Day July 4th. September is membership campaign month. Patient favors during the summer are by the following: July-Jan Follett, August-Connie Dunseth, and September-Marty Brace & Ruth Cooley. Decorations and theme for the luncheon was butterflies and transformation. Retiring President Joyce thanked all who helped in any way with the auxiliary projects during the past two years.
