(January 15th, 2015) – BRYAN: Traveling to play their old enemy Bryan, the Lady Locomotives Junior Varsity team knew they were in for a dog fight. After all, almost all rivalry games are tough, regardless of the records, or even the talent levels, of the two teams. There’s something more on the line in contests like these, and everyone seems to step up and play at their absolute peak.

Still, Montpelier couldn’t pull off the road victory. The young Lady Locos fought valiantly, but couldn’t quite get the better of the Lady Golden Bears. The Locomotives dropped the contest 26-21.

Meili Leung stood out in the close loss. She put up 8 points in an effort to propel Montpelier past their hosts.
