MONTPELIER – Lauren Dye and Hannah Blake combined for 75 percent of the Montpelier Lady Loco points against North Central on November 23, and three teammates provided the difference as Montpelier tripped the Lady Eagles in the season kickoff, 40-30.
Dye canned 17 points and Blake posted 13, the only players from either squad to crack the double-digit barrier. Baylee Hageman landed 6 points, while Aleah Maas and Christina Prather each had 2 points.
Sabrina Pickford led the Lady Eagles with 8 points, and Tiana Wheeler dropped in 7 points. Bralyn Wyrick and Hannah Siekemeyer each had a half-dozen, and Shaylee Oyer landed a trey.
