BRYAN – Timely hitting and three unearned runs were crucial as the Bryan Lady Bears chalked up a 7-2 NWOAL win over Montpelier on April 22.

Lauren Dye went the route for Montpelier, and was charged with 7 runs, 4 earned on 14 hits, fanning 5.

Sydney Houk had 3 singles and a double for Montpelier, and Lesley Clark had a pair of doubles. Dye clocked a pair of base hits, Marinna Mercer had a double, and Christina Prather and Haley Suffel each singled.
