Dan Konoff recently donated this handcrafted sign to the women of the Montpelier Public Library to express his appreciation for all that they do.  Dan explained that “they go out of their way to care for the children of this community.  They do everything they can to make sure that reading is a fun adventure for our future generations.  In our fast paced society with video games and computers, these ladies have a special way of helping the reading remain magical” as well as expressed his own appreciation.  “I was never a big reader but in the past eight years that I have been going to the Montpelier Public Library, the ladies have encouraged me to read more and, because of that, a whole new world has opened up for me.  Shown with Dan and accepting the gift are, from left, Lois Baughman, Irene Eccelston, Pat Henricks, Dan Konoff, Melanie Lehman, and Director Gloria Osburn.  Not pictured is Gloria Jean Gilcher.
