BOARD OF DD REPRESENTATIVE … Dennis Meyers was the guest at the latest Montpelier Rotary Club representing the Williams County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Dennis shared about the exciting work of the Board but specifically shared that October is “National Employment Awareness Month”. The Board currently has 36 individuals working in 28 local businesses and is always looking to add more. The Board works with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) helping with skills training, evaluations and placement. Placing individuals with disabilities in employment increases their income, helps them to learn work and life skills and, hopefully, become independent. Dennis was the guest of Rotarian Heather Greene (pictured).
