Montpelier, Stryker Hold Their Own At Archbold Invitational

September 6th-ARCHBOLD: With 114 boys and 102 girls running at the event, the Archbold Invitational was a competitive race. Montpelier and Stryker were amongst the teams battling for position at the contest.

The Locomotives took third at the event, led by medalist Jared Rediger and his sixth place time of 18:13. Fellow Loco Michael Blake finished eleventh at 18:47. Alec Waterston completed the race in twenty-first place at 19:24.

Stryker was awarded twelfth place as a unit. Hunter Lillehom ran a 22:03 for the Panthers. Israel Aguilar completed his run at 22:27, and Trevin Rhoades finished with a time of 22:59.

Medalist Jacqueline Carlson was the first Lady Loco to cross the finish line, taking sixth place at 21:59. Hayley Suffel ran a 29:31 for Montpelier, and teammate Jessica Earle finished at 29:43.

The Lady Panthers finished in seventh place as a team. Megan Graber crossed the line at 22:44 for Stryker. Shi’Anna Whitman ran a 23:04, and fellow Panther Paige Speelman finished with a time of 23:17.
