Montpelier Exempted Village Schools came alive with color and creativity on Sunday, May 4th, as students from kindergarten through 12th grade showcased their work in the district’s annual Spring Showcase art show.

Hallways were transformed into makeshift galleries, lined with everything from finger-painted masterpieces to detailed pencil portraits, clay sculptures, and vibrant mixed media projects.

Families, teachers, and community members wandered through the displays, pausing to admire the talent and imagination of young Montpelier minds.

The event served as more than just an exhibit. It was a celebration of student growth as the end of the year draws to a close.

Teachers noted how the show gives students of all ages a sense of pride and purpose, helping them build confidence in their artistic skills.

Art teachers and event organizers praised the students for their hard work throughout the year and thanked the community for their ongoing support.

As the event concluded, and made way for the musical students to have a turn, Montpelier’s K-12 art show continued to serve its residents with creativity, self-expression, and engagement.
