nicholasrecknerpicNicholas Lynn Reckner, age 36, of Wauseon, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, following a brief illness, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a computer technician and avid Ohio State University football fan. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his cousins and being “honorary uncle” to their children.

Nicholas was born in Wauseon on November 5, 1979, the son of Linda D. (Rupp) Reckner. He is survived by his mother, Linda D. (Reckner) Johnson of Wauseon; grandfather and step-grandmother, Donald (Beth) Rupp of Archbold; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and father, Bruce Reckner of Largo, Florida. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory Reckner, maternal grandmother, Verda Rupp, maternal uncle, Richard LaMarr Rupp, paternal grandparents, Ralph Wayne Sr. and Ivagene Reckner.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation at 10:00 A.M. at North Dover United Methodist Church on State Route 108, Wauseon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family requests any contributions be for burial expenses be sent to Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, Ohio. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements
