Nora Lee Scott WEBNora Lee Scott, age 84, of Edon, Ohio, died at 9:10 A.M. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio. Mrs. Scott was a 1948 graduate of Edon High School, had worked at Keller Hardware in Edon, and had been employed by Krill Funeral Home since 1991. She was a member of the Edon Church of Christ, for many years was an election day poll worker and was an avid Edon Bomber fan.

Nora Leee Scott was born on October 2, 1930, in Sherwood, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer R. and Hazel C. (Poth) Beltz. She married Richard J. Scott on November 14, 1948, in Edon, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1987.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan (Duane) Thiel, of Edon; one son, Richard J. Scott, Jr., also of Edon; four grandchildren, Joe (Michele) Thiel, of Edon, Jodi (Larry Rios) Ankney, of Hamilton, Indiana, Jaci Thiel, of Montpelier, Ohio, and Jena Thiel, of Edon; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Schlosser.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon. Services will be on Monday, June 8, 2015, at 1:30 P.M. in the Edon Church of Christ with David LaDuke and Cliff Graves, Ministers officiating, with visitation prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery.
