Norma J. (Dunham) Rice, age 84, of Archbold, passed away Wednesday evening, May 6, 2015, at the Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. Prior to retirement she had worked as an administrative assistant for Florida Senior Services.
Norma was born in Mutual, Ohio on May 6, 1931, the daughter of Virgil and Evelyn (Neer) Dunham. Norma had served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. She was an avid sports enthusiast who loved to bowl, and was a great fan of both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds.
Surviving is daughter, Nancy (Darrell) Topmiller of Amelia, OH, son, Michael Steele of Cincinnati, four grandchildren, James and Stephanie Steele and Katie and Kristine Topmiller. She is also survived by two sisters, Karen (Tom) Kumpf of Sardinia, OH and Sue (Dave) Leitch of Grove City, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Arlen Dunham.
There will be no local funeral services. Services will be scheduled at a later time in Cincinnati. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
