Norma E. Sanders, age 93, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:12 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2019, at SKLD Healthcare, Bryan, where she was a patient.
Mrs. Sanders was a 1944 graduate of Edon High School and was a receiving clerk at The Aro Corporation in Bryan for eighteen years.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan and Bryan American Legion Auxiliary, of which she past president, and a former member of Bryan Lioness Club. She enjoyed her crafts, playing cards and spending winters in Florida with her husband for many years.
Norma E. Sanders was born on February 20, 1926, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Glen V. and Helen (Haines) Shearer. She married Richard R. Sanders on February 7, 1948, in Bryan, and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2011.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Sanders, of Bryan, and Steven (Cheryl) Sanders, of Fredericktown, Ohio; one daughter, Nancy (Samuel) Baker, of Holgate, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jason, Jamie and Adam Sanders; three step grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah and Steven Wicks; and ten great-grandchildren, Jenna, Spencer, Ellianna, Levi and Anna Sanders, Bayli, Eric, Aden and Zebrianne Sanders and Gage Wicks. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Marian and Marjorie Shearer and Marguerite McNamee.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, on Monday, December 16, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Peter Paige officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier, Ohio.
