WAUSEON – Fresh off capturing the regular season title on September 18th, the North Central Eagles achieved another season goal by claiming the BBC Tournament Championship as well on September 21, by downing the six time defending champs Stryker by a score of 316-357. Fayette finished third at 378. Other team scores were Pettisville 386, Edon 391, and Hilltop 418
North Central dominated the all-league team as well, placing five golfers on the first team led by medalist Branden Turner who shot a four over par 76. Eagles joining Turner on the 1st team were Kole Peterson 79, Cameron Cochran 80, Clayton VanDeVoorde 81, and Jalen Dancer 82, along with Tanner Clingaman of Stryker who shot a 78.
Topping the second team was Dylan Hutchison of North Central, Tyler Herschberger of Pettisville and Dustin Lantz of Fayette who all ended the day with rounds of 86. Joining the trio were Chad Ruffer of Stryker and Taylor Schwartz of Edon who both shot 90. The final spot on the squad was claimed by Zayne Colegrove of Fayette who finished with a 91.
