Northwest Township Building Determined “Total Loss”

November 1, 2012Updated:November 30, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

The Northwest Township Building, located just north of the intersection of State Route 49 and US 20, was destroyed by fire Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012.  Determined by inspectors as electrical in nature, the fire left the building and its contents as a total loss (the value remains unknown at this time).  Township snow removal equipment, housed in another building at the time of the fire, was unaffected; efforts to clear roads this upcoming winter season should not be hampered.
