WAUSEON — A Delta, Ohio, man convicted in the death of a man who died from a heroin overdose has been sentenced to 30 months in prison.

Dale Silveous, Jr., 22, was sentenced Wednesday in Fulton County Common Pleas Court by Judge James Barber.

He pleaded guilty in August to reckless homicide and possession of heroin for selling the heroin that killed Matthew Knierim, 20, of Wauseon on Oct. 23, 2014.

Judge Barber also imposed an 11-month sentence on the heroin possession conviction but ordered the sentences to run concurrently.
