Oveta J. Hendricks, age 91, of Pioneer, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at her home.
Oveta was a homemaker and farm wife. She enjoyed taking care of her family , playing the piano and was a pet lover. She attended Bryan First Assembly of God.
Oveta was born on February 18, 1933, in Jefferson Township, Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of C. Reese and Deulah Irene (Moore) Smith. She married Morris R. Hendricks on August 29, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2004.
Oveta is survived by her sons, Terry Hendricks and Gary Hendricks, both of Pioneer; 5 grandchildren, Sadie, Mindy, Erica, Amanda and Dustin; 9 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Sam Luthi officiating. Burial will follow at Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.
