Bryan got 79s from Drew Dauber and Noah Huard to lead them to the top spot in the Defiance Invitational at Eagle Rock Golf Club. Nathan Hess fired an 84 and Carter Brown had an 86 for the Golden Bears.
Archbold’s Cahle Roth was tournament medalist with a 75 and fellow Bluestreak Luke Rosebrook shot a round of 79 to pace Archbold to a team score of 357 to finish seventh. The Stryker Panthers came home in 17th led by Gavin LaBo with a 104.

Wauseon’s Andy Scherer fired a 77 to tie for first and then was able to par the first playoff hole against Blake Rachwal of Maumee Valley Country Day to earn medalist honors at Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon.
Scherer was joined by teammate Jackson Gleckler (84) in the top team individually as the Indians placed second in the team standings. Freshman Mykale Schneider carded a 92 and Zach Puehler shot a 94 to round out the scoring for Wauseon.
Montpelier was next behind Wauseon with a 356 to finish third led by Drake Sommer with an 85 and Jaxon Richmond posted an 87. North Central tallied a 361 to place fifth as Zach Hayes carded an 86 and Mason Sanford an 88 to lead the way.
Pettisville wrapped up the local schools with a seventh-place finish (444) paced by a 99 from freshman Caden Bishop.
