Pauline E. Gamble, age 89, of Wauseon passed away late Sunday November 22, 2015 at Glendale Senior Living in Toledo. Prior to her retirement she had worked for Wauseon Manufacturing and Perfection Finishers.
Pauline was born in Henry County on April 4, 1926 the daughter of the late Fred J. and the late Stella (Leitner) Vollmer. On February 4, 1950 she married Paul L. Gamble and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon. Pauline cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are sons; Rodney (Linda) Gamble of New Franklin, OH, Larry (Diane) Gamble of Maumee, four grandsons; Nicholas, Ryan, Christopher and Grant, one grand-daughter; Taylor and one great-grand-daughter; Savannah. Also surviving is brother; Orra Vollmer of Wauseon.
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents was brother, LeRoy Vollmer, sister; Audrey Jeppesen, and infant brother.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the Wauseon fire and Rescue or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
