(September 25th, 2014): The Freshmen Lady Blackbirds took on their counterparts from Stryker on Thursday. Despite an inspiring effort from the Lady Panthers, they weren’t able to overcome Pettisville, losing in straight, though valiant sets.
Game 1 stayed close throughout the set, with Pettisville edging out the Panthers 25-22. The second set was also contested, but the Blackbirds pulled away to take a 25-18 win and claim the match.
