Pettisville Lady Blackbirds Fall To Fairview 22-6 In Out Of Conference Play

FAIRVIEW: MAY  3, 2014– The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds hit the road for a non-conference tilt with the GMC’s Fairview Lady Apaches on May 3, falling to the hosts 22-6.

Teagan Kauffman took the setback for the Blackbirds, allowing 21 hit s and 21 runs on the day, with just 1 K and 10 walks in the game.

Offensively for Pettisville, Audra Klopfenstein had a career day, blasting a homerun, a double and 2 singles in the setback.  Amber Klopfenstein had a big day as well, connecting for 3 singles on the game.  Jaelyn Rufenacht, Teagan Kauffman, Jasmyn Barton and Emily Hubby each made contact for singles in the loss.

The loss drops the Lady Blackbirds to 8-6 on the season and remain at 6-2  in the BBC.
