MONTPELIER: MAY  2, 2014– The Montpelier Lady Locomotives played host to Evergreen on May 2, falling to the visiting Lady Vikings 13-5.

Breanna Stein took the setback for the Locomotives, allowing 13 runs on the game while striking  out 3 and advancing 3 runners by walk in the loss.

Offensively for the Lady Locomotives on the day, Sydney Houk and Marinna Mercer each connected for triples with Mercer also hitting an out of the park shot in the game.  Stein, Leslie Clark, Christy Duchene and Regan Steffes also connected for hits in the loss.

The loss drops the Lady Locos to 6-7 on the season and 2-4  in the NWOAL.
