ARCHBOLD – The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds JV captured the Archbold Spiketacular Title on September 28, taking three straight matches to gain the title. The Lady Blackbird defeated Antwerp, Hilltop and in the championship match, dropped host Archbold for the title.
Versus Antwerp
In the first match, the Lady Blackbirds dispatched Antwerp, prevailing in two straight sets by the scores of 25-18 and 25-17.
Versus Hilltop
Pettisville topped the Lady Cadets of Hilltop in the second match of the day, overcoming Hilltop in two straight by the scores of 25-15 and 25-17.
Versus Archbold
The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds battled to a two set to one victory in the championship match, overcoming the Lady Blue Streaks 25-20 in the first set, dropping the second set to Archbold 25-23, and winning the match by coming out on top 25-17 to take home the title.
