Phyllis Smith (1946 – 2018)

Phyllis Jeanette (Cooper) Smith passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio- Perrysburg at the age of 71.
She was born in Sylvania Ohio on September 6, 1946 to John and Myra Cooper.

A graduate of Sylvania Northview, she married Raymond Smith Sr on August 20, 1965 in Findlay Ohio. They lived their early years in Wauseon Ohio, later moving to Sylvania and presently reside in Toledo, Ohio.

Blessed with three children, Phyllis was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother and loved to share recipes, stories and write poetry.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 52 years Raymond, three children Candace “Candy” and Tracy Havely; Raymond and Monica Smith and Christopher “Chris” and Jennifer Smith; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Joyce Nuding.
