Randy P. SinkeyRandy Paul Sinkey, 60 years, of Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Randy was born February 12, 1956 in Montpelier, Ohio, son of the late Donald P. and Estella Louise (Grant) Sinkey. He was a 1974 graduate of Stryker High School, Stryker, Ohio and then attended college in Las Vegas, Nevada, studying Computer Programing. He was an Army Veteran, attaining the rank of Specialist 4. He served in Okinawa, Japan, as a decoder.

Randy worked for Eagle Picher in Hillsdale, Michigan as a Computer Programmer. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan as well as a fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Pistons and Red Wings.

Surviving is his sister, Becky (Greg) Scheffel of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his companion, Mary Cetnarowski of Hillsdale, Michigan; four nephews, Jason Walker, Eric Walker, Michael Rager and Alan Sinkey as well as several great-nephews and nieces.

Visitation for Randy Paul Sinkey will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor J. Mark Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Frontier Cemetery, Woodbridge Township, Michigan.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to a Humane Society of the donor’s choice or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
