Robert H. Lee, age 62, of Stryker, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015, in his home. Robert was a driver and “Gas Man” for the Ney Oil Company. He had served as a member of the Springfield Township/Stryker Fire Department for 31 years, and had also served as an EMT with Williams County EMS for 29 years.
Robert was born in Wauseon, Ohio on March 21, 1953, the son of Earl O. and Reta L. (Hite) Lee. He was a member of the United Brethren Church in Stryker.
Surviving are three sons, Jeremy Lee, Kenneth (Kattie) Lee and Adam Lee; two grandchildren, Liam and Autumn Lee; and siblings, Isabelle (Glen) Handy, Larry Lee, Allen Lee and Norma Ducat. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Earl Lee, Jr.
Visitation for Robert will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the First Lutheran Church in Stryker, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, with Pastor Nick Woodall, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker.
