Roger L GrieserRoger L. Grieser, age 70, of Pettisville, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon, after a brief illness. Prior to his retirement he had worked at the former Fulton Tubing – ITT Higbie in Archbold for 45 years.

Roger was born in Wauseon on March 26, 1945, the son of Royal and Magdalene (Detter) Grieser. On September 25, 1964 he married Karen Wood, and she survives. He was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon. He enjoyed looking things up on the computer, playing solitaire, going out to eat at good restaurants, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his wife, Karen, are children; Lonnie (Dawn) Grieser of Douglasville, GA, Bonnie (Andy) Davis of Wauseon, Tyler (Amanda) Grieser of Lynn Haven, FL and Tiffany (James) Prayter, Jr of Swanton. Also surviving is his mother, Magdalene Grieser of Archbold; grandchildren, Hunter Grieser, Katherine (Keith) Miller, Zachary, Krystine, and Nicholas Davis, Isabella and Samuel Grieser, Brooklyn and Camryn Prayter; and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Royal; brother, Larry; sister, Nancy; and granddaughter, Amber.

Visitation for Roger will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Emmaus Lutheran Church, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, with the Rev. Charles Althoff, officiating. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Emmaus Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
