Roger L. Kesler (1935 – 2014)

Roger Kesler WEBRoger L. Kesler, age 79, of Delta, surrounded by his family, passed away at his home Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2014. The son of the late Clarence Kesler and Lola (Secor) Kesler, he was born in Delta on April 17, 1935.

Roger graduated from Delta High School in 1953. He worked as an engineer for Kewaunee in Adrian, MI for over 20 years before retiring from Sauder Manufacturing. On February 9, 1957 he married Janet Franz.

Roger was a member of the Delta Eagles and past member of the Wauseon Elks. He enjoyed several hobbies, but none greater than his passion for billiards. Roger was an avid pool player, including being a member on a billiard league; where he touched lives with his kindness and made many friends.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Janet Kesler of 57 years; daughter, Deborah (Samuel) Frey of Schuylkill Haven, PA; son, Jeff Kesler of Washington DC; grandchildren, Nathan Frey, Nick (Julie) Frey and Jason Frey; along with many friends.
