Roger “Piggy” Algeo (1956-2020)

Roger “Piggy” A. Algeo, 63, of Montpelier, passed away on April 6, 2020 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance. He was born on December 26, 1956 in Bryan to Guy A. and Beatrice (Cooley) Algeo.

Roger graduated from Bryan High School in 1976 and attended Four County Vocational School. On December 23, 1980 he married Connie A. (Cogswell) Keller in Bryan and she survives.

Roger worked for Allied Molded Products in Bryan as a maintenance man for 35 years. He was currently working as a route driver, delivering the Bryan Times to the Pioneer and Fayette areas.

Roger is survived by his wife, Connie ; son, Ryan (Brandy) Algeo of San Antonio, TX; three step sons, Shane (Brandi Fix) Keller of Waldron, Chad (Deborah) Keller of Montpelier and Jeremy (Amber) Keller of Montpelier; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; mother, Beatrice Algeo of Bryan; and one sister, Patricia Algeo of Bryan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy A. Algeo, a sister Shirley Ann Algeo and a step daughter, Candice Landis.

A celebration of Roger’s life will take place at a later date.
