Rogerio Sierra, Jr. (1953-2023)

Rogerio Sierra, Jr., age 69, of Montpelier passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center near Defiance.

Rogerio had been a press operator at Pioneer Forge for several years before having to medically retire.

He attended Grace Community Church and was a member of the Bible study group there and at Dad’s Place. He enjoyed camping, fishing and woodworking.

Rogerio Sierra, Jr. was born on August 4, 1953, in Brownsville, Texas, the son of Rogerio V. and Paula (Neito) Sierra, Sr. He married Dawn M. George on April 22, 1995 at Nettle Lake and she survives.

Rogerio is also survived by his children, Roger (Chris) Sierra, of Defiance, David (Annette) Sierra and Mitchell Sierra, both of Wauseon, Michelle Sierra, of Bryan and Mikel Cliffton, at home; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Luis (Sylvia) Sierra, of Defiance, Johnny (Susan) Sierra, of Archbold, Joe Sierra, of Fayette and Tony Sierra, of Liberty Center; sisters, Mary Wisecup, of Hicksville, Mary Lou (Ronnie) Taut, of Archbold and Maggie (Jon) Ehlers, of Hamler and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marcos Sierra.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Community Church, 206 West Bement Street, Bryan, with Pastor Nate Petrosky officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family in care of Krill Funeral Home to help with expenses.
