

Juanita was a loving wife and mother. She was an avid reader, quilter and enjoyed sewing. She loved baking and volunteered with the fish fries held at Hillcrest Country Club.
Before moving to Montpelier in 1973, Juanita was very active in the community while living in Detroit. She was a member of the Board of Directors at the Community Center and spent lots of time volunteering.
Juanita was selfless, never spoke an unkind word to anyone and was the definition of a go getter.
She is survived by her daughter Juanita Kay Watson of Farmington, Michigan; daughter-in-law Diane Watson of Redford, Michigan; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two half-brothers, Charles and Stanley Heil of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert B. Watson; son Kenneth L. Watson; two brothers, John and Vernon Heil; one half-brother; two step brothers; and one step sister.
Juanita will be laid to rest in a private burial in Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, MI. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
