Sandra “Sandie” S. Cluckey, 71, of Montpelier passed away Sunday morning at her home. She was born on June 12, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Elmer R. and Dorothy J. (Davis) Morman. Sandie graduated from Whitney Vocational High School in Toledo in 1963. On February 12, 1977, she married Charles S. Cluckey in Erie, Michigan. Sandie was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her.
Sandie is survived by her husband Charles; five children, Denise M. McCans of Flatrock, Michigan, Dennis (Stephanie) Carlson of Braidwood, Illinois, Christopher (Lyn) Cluckey of Patrick AFB, Florida, Duaine (Apryl) Cluckey of Montpelier, Richard J. Cluckey of Montpelier, Ohio, and 2 step-children, Tonya (Ken) Farmer of Wayland, Michigan, and Daniel (Kim) Wrobleski of Holland, Michigan; twenty-six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brother Richard (Carol) Morman of Lambertville, Michigan; four nieces, four great nieces, and one great nephew.
Sandie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Sandie will be on Saturday, January 28th from 2-5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. Services will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis N. Jones to officiate.
