Monday, December 5, Scoring Summaries

BOYS VARSITY BOWLING

Bryan 2396, Wauseon 2111

Tycen Ogden rolled games of 243 and 206 for a 449 series to help the Golden Bears defeat the Indians. Cory Hemenway joined Ogden with a 423 series with games of 198 and 225. Chance Buehrer led the Indians with games of 211 and 205 for a 416 series.

FRESHMAN BASKETBALL


Hilltop 33, Montpelier 11. No game summary submitted.

JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL

Edon 43, Pettisville 13

7th grade – The Bombers ran away with this game early as they outscored the Blackbirds 26-4 in the first half. D. Gallehue was the difference maker in this one as he knocked down 30 points in the win for Edon. Gideon Myers led Pettisville with five points.

Pettisville 38, Edon 28


8th grade – Pettisville got off fast scoring 13 points in the first quarter on way to the 10-point victory. Max Leppelmeier led Pettisville with 17 points. Leppelmeier converted three three- point shots in the win. Alex Herr led Edon with a 13-point effort.

Montpelier 31, Hilltop 20

8th grade – Thomas Jay led the way for the Locos with 14 points while Tylor Yahraus added eight.

Hilltop 21, Montpelier 15

7th grade – Everett Lashaway and Colin Mattern each finished with four points for the Montpelier.


GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL

Swanton 56, Fayette 32

The Bulldogs led from the opening tip as they ran past the Eagles in non-league action. Two Bulldogs finished in double figures as Haley Nelson connected for 16 points while Sidney Taylor finished with 13. Rhys Ruger paced Fayette with 11 points.

Delta 49, Ayersville 31

20 of the Panthers points came at the result of Pilot turnovers as the prevailed in the non-league clash. Abby Freeman and Maddie Mattimore were in charge of the game as the two Delta guards scored a combined 42 points. Freeman led with 24, while Mattimore added 18.

GIRLS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL

North Central 24, Fayette 21

7th grade – Madison Brown scored 16 points and Lauren Blaser added 4 for the Eagles. Fayette was led by Brooke Vanderueer’s 21 points.

Fayette 34, North Central 20

8th grade – Trista Fruchey led Fayette with 17 points. Mazie Zimmerman finished with seven points for the Eagles while Kendee Hollstein added six points.

Montpelier 32, Hilltop 8

8th grade – No game summary submitted

Hilltop 41, Montpelier 13

7th grade –No game summary submitted

Pettisville 14, Edon 12

7th grade – In the low scoring contest, Addison Moyer and Karsen Pursel each scored four points for Pettisville in the win. Ally Kaylor led Edon with six points.

Edon 18, Pettisville 17

8th grade – The Bombers outscored Pettisville 10-2 in the first quarter then held off a 15-8 deficit over the remaining three quarters for the win. Edon was led by 14 points from Briner. Pettisville was led by Xavia Borden with six points and Elise Hartler and Ellie Wixom with four points apiece.

BOYS VARSITY BOWLING

Wauseon 2429, Swanton 2172

Nicolas Kearney led the Indians with games of 255 and 246 for the NWOAL win.  Jaden Meeker finished second for Wauseon rolling games of 196 and 177 for a 373 total. Leading Swanton was Skyler Ulch with games of 193 and 175 for a 378 series.
