Around 1:00pm today , Axle Roark, pictured escaped custody of the Fayette Police Department and may be in the Village of Fayette. Officers from the Fayette Police Department, the Fulton County Sheriffs Department and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources are searching the area for him. He was not armed but may be dangerous. Do not approach him and if seen please call 911 or the Fayette Police Department.

Update From Bill McConnell of the Fayette Police Department: As of 7:30pm we have not located Mr Roark yet. For the evening, please lock your house doors and cars doors. A couple of days ago we had a stolen vehicle and we don’t need another one. Officers will be patrolling the village all evening.
