Seventh Annual Carp Festival Comes To Archbold, Ohio

Harpists and their companions from 15 States and Canada will gather at the Sauder Heritage Inn, Archbold, Ohio from May 15 – 18, 2014. Participants will enjoy workshops, concerts, jam sessions and fellowship.

The public is welcome to attend any of the three concerts. Tickets for each concert are $ 15.00 and available at the door. Individual workshop tickets can also be purchased for $65.00.

Friday evening at 7:00 pm features the harp and acoustic guitar duo, TAPESTRY (Denise and Michael Grupp-Verbon) from Toledo, and Frank Voltz, gospel/jazz harpist from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.


Saturday evening at 7:30 will have performances by San Francisco harpists Lisa Lynne and Aryeh Frankfurter as well as Scottish Harpist, Maeve Gilchrist.

On Sunday morning at 11:15, concert attendees will hear The Harp Gathering Ensemble, directed by Frank Voltz, followed by Cynthia Shelhart of Chesterton, Indiana.

For those shopping for harps, dulcimers, ukuleles, music and accessories, a vendor hall pass can be purchased for $ 15.00.
