Sharon Lee Blalock, age 87, of Edgerton, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon was born July 21, 1937 in Florence Township, Williams County, Ohio to the late Claude Burton Schoonover and Clella Clair (O’Connor) Schoonover.
Sharon was a 1955 graduate of Edgerton High School. She married James Colin Blalock on June 09, 1957 and he preceded her in death. During high school she enjoyed cooking for Dolly’s Restaurant in Edgerton.
Sharon was a cabinetmaker for Fleetwood Industries for over 20 years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Sharon enjoyed woodworking, painting, reading, landscaping and being with family.
Survivors include, her sons, Andrew, Burton, Carson, David, Emmett. 11 grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Everetts and Suzann Walters.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Franklin Blalock, sister, Madeline Freese, brothers, Claude “Junior”, Duane “Butch”, Michael and Larry.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Pastor Byron Adams will officiate. Interment will be private in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio.
