Sharon “Sue” Breier, age 68, of Archbold, passed away Tuesday morning, March 26, 2013, in her home. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a machinist for over 40 years for ITT Higbie in Archbold.

Sue was born in Pekin, Illinois on January 12, 1945, the daughter of Edward Ray and Ruth (Sanders) Layne. On August 10, 1963 she married John D. Breier, and he survives. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran in Ridgeville Corners.

Also surviving are three sons, John L. Breier of Stryker, Randall S. Breier of Stryker and Rick A. Breier of Brownsville, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa Bellmann, Kevin Oehler, Jr., Sydney Oehler, Brittany Breier, Erica Breier, Brianna Breier and Alexis Breier; and great-grandchildren, Norah-Lynn Beck, Amariah Beck, Zachariah Beck and Isabelle Perez. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Robin Breier; great-grandson, Aiden Oehler; brother, Robert Layne; and sister, Shirley Beltz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 P.M., with the Rev. Paul Reichert, officiating. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to family choice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
